We have been going for a decade in various forms with the sole aim of playing a supportive and empowering role in the lives of family members. Life Coaching makes a difference and being able to walk the road ahead with a coach makes a world of difference!
From the children that have been impacted as a result of a family breakup, in the form of a Divorce, to working with the adults, who are broken and in need of assistance themselves facing various traumas. We all end up facing different challenges as a result of the huge tragedies life sends our way.
Personal brokenness, failure or just not knowing how, when embraced, can set you up for victory as you face your fears and partner with someone that will walk a road with you. Solo is not the way to go when life has tripped you and you are down. There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. We would like to be there to offer a hand up and a supportive role for your road ahead. Coaching you so as to see you stay ahead in "the game", your life.
If you take your walk, healing and restoration seriously, you are bound for Destiny and not Destruction!

How did we begin as an organization?
Can it be said that great things can come out of tragedy? Mine was a divorce, where I lost everything except the TV. Yours may be one of the many tragedies that hit people hard, most of the time leaving them winded and in shock! After walking a road in my own healing, as a wounded healer I set out to try make a difference by being different and it worked! The rest is history or rather my story but personal struggles and victories gained have aided me in being able to assist others in their journey. So years down the line , with programmes, courses, education qualifications, a doctorate and so on saw the development of Family Skills, an organization birthed out of the need of the many broken, hurting people who's paths I have crossed. Packaging the skills together and making there available has been the order of the day over the past 15 years. So today we stand in a place to assist as 'Coaches' and get you back to a place in 'the team'. We are a family together, though yours may be broken, together as pieces of the puzzle we can make sense of it all !
What empowers you to help others?
Life has empowered me through personal experience. Life has pressed and crushed me and oil has flowed that we will use to assist you with your wounds. It's about talking the talk because you got qualified walking the walk. Most importantly above all this is a very special mentoring and personal care. It's done in a way no man or woman could do it. It's done by the "lover of your soul". Because life breaks at our souls, sometimes destroying them, there is but one that can truly travel your road with you and walk you to full wholeness. If we take the "o" standing for ourselves out of the word "Good" we are left with God! We alone can never truly make it through life in the way it was designed and destined to be without His help. So yes, let it be said : "Christ today empowers your way!"

How do I empower myself to be equipped to face my challenge?
There is an awesome statement that "we can't change what we don't acknowledge". Together we can look objectively at the uniqueness of your situation, evaluate it and with life experience, compassion and training, assist you in plotting the best route towards wholeness. We will never have all the answers but that is okay, when faced with a question mark or not sure which turn to take, man can't always help, but we can rely on a GPS that will help guide you step by step along your journey.
